We offer three opportunities for those who would like to be involved in
leading worship at Bright. We have a lead vocal team (Frontline) for
Sunday mornings which is based on vocal ability and experience.
We also use a worship leading choir (The Bridge) that anyone is
welcome to join. On occasion we will use our seasonal Worship Choir
and/or ensemble for special services.
How to join:
Our Frontline Vocal Team
is selected based on a passion for worship, vocal ability and
experience. Reading music is not required, but is preferred. This
ministry requires an interview.
Our Bridge Choir
(worship leading Choir), requires no interview or previous vocal
experience. If you have a passion for worship and love to sing, we’d
love to have you in Bridge. The Bridge choir is an on-going choir and
you can join at anytime. You can fill out the interest form and Kent
will contact you, or just show up on Thursday nights at 7:00pm for a
rehearsal.
The Worship Choir
rehearses seasonally and also does not require an interview. Anyone who
loves God and to sing to Him is welcome. Contact Kent (kent.drake@brightchristian.org) to find out when the next Worship Choir session will begin rehearsing.
When we meet:
Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm and Sundays at 8:00am
This ministry utilizes talent in a wide variety of worship styles. Our
worship band is focused on exalting God and inviting Him to center
stage each week.
How to join:
Musicians are selected based on a heart for worship, playing ability
and experience. Team members should be able to read music or charts
proficiently and easily adapt to a wide variety of worship styles.
When we meet:
Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm and Sundays at 8:00am
We feel the need to communicate the most important message with tools
that are familiar to our culture and community. We have been committed
to designing with excellence a sophisticated AVL system. Our
Technical Ministries team is responsible for making sure that the
message is heard, seen and understood utilizing some great pieces of
equipment (32 Channel Yamaha Soundboard, Rear-projection video
projector, Strand Lighting console).
