Rare
chance to see the Cincinnati Reds play the Atlanta Braves and a
Christian concert all in the same day. $11 gets you a ticket to both
the 1:10pm Reds game and a free post game concert by Mercy Me. BCC has
purchased a limited number of discount tickets.
With
the conclusion of VBS, we are giving families the opportunity to
worship together and be blessed as the children present a few praise
songs they learned throughout VBS week. Therefore, classes for
ages Kindergarten through High School are dismissed and families are
encouraged to worship together on this special day.
BCC
101 provides a helpful orientation to Bright Christian Church, led by
Jeff Stone, Senior Minister, for those considering committing their
lives to Christ and becoming members of BCC. You can enjoy
refrestments while Jeff shares information about the church and answers
your questions. Child care is available. Please RSVP to the
church office by noon on Wednesday, August 11 if you would like to
attend this informal orientation and to indicate a need for child care.
Here
is another opportunity for Bright Christian to reach out into the
community as we sponsor the 3rd Annual Backyard Bash. All our VBS
families are invited as well as the community and church family.
There will be inflatables, games, food, prizes, music...ALL FREE.

Ready
to explore the mighty love of God? VBS 2010 has been set for
August 2-6 from 7-9:00pm and plans are already in the works for another

End
your summer right with four nights of wild and crazy fun for junior
high students. We will start with worship and celebration at church and
end with a different event and location every night. All
nights will begin at the church at 6:00 PM.

It is a life-changing weekend with biblically sound messages from
Beth Moore. It's a chance to be spiritually renewed along with

MOPS
is almost here! We meet the first Friday of every month from
9:15-11:15am. Our first meeting is Friday, September 3.
Your children are wonderfully cared for by our background-checked
volunteers. We are blessed to enjoy delicious breakfasts,
speakers, crafts and wonderful fellowship with moms JUST LIKE YOU!

Ladies,
invite your friends, neighbors, and family and join us for a fun
evening of fellowship as we gather at the Frank’s courthouse
building at 6:30pm on Friday, October 29. Please car pool
from the church at 6:00pm. Our auctioneer will once again be Dale Lutz
who brings excitement and humor to the evening. We can use lots
of items to auction, so start thinking about what you want to donate.
(A general rule would be to shop for or bring items you or someone else
would actually like to bid on.) Items sold at past auctions
include: gift baskets, gift certificates, antiques, jewelry, baked
goods, quilts, home furnishings, crafts, vacation rentals, certificates
for services (massages, manicures, haircuts, painting, babysitting,
music lessons, catering, etc.). See how creative you can be! By
attending, you will be eligible to enter a drawing for a couple door
prizes that will be given away at the end of the evening. If you are
not able to bring an item, just come and shop! Plan to eat dinner
at the auction, because Jane Franks will have homemade BBQ Sandwiches
available for a donation that will be given to the auction proceeds.
Please bring a 2-liter and snack to share. Auction proceeds will
