About the Sewing Sisters
The sewing sisters are a group of women who get together to share God's love through sewing. We make small quilts of comfort and love for children in our community and around the globe.
We can teach you how to make a small quilt in your home or at one of our quilt sessions at Bright CC. Each quilt is machine sewn and take approximately 2-3 days to complete. Fabric and patterns are available.
Ladies, Sewing Sisters will not meet again this year. Weather permitting, we will begin our quilt sessions again in January 2018!
This year -2017 - thru many generous gifts of donated batting, fabrics and quilts, Sewing Sisters gave over 75 small quilts for BCC mission teams to distribute locally and globally. Our most recent quilts are being shipped thru Lifeline.org for children in Haiti, taken to Texas, and will go to Ecuador in January.
I urge you to continue quilting for this most worthy mission project. Kits, fabrics and batting are always available in the sewing closet at church. On behalf of Betsie, Doreen, I can't begin to thank you enough. Your gifts of time and treasures are so appreciated, dear friends.
Love and blessings,
