God
didn’t make us to be independent. We
are a people today in need of relationships- First and foremost with
our Heavenly Father but then also with other believers.
A Small group is a place...
...where community is found, lives are shared.
...where you can be open and share your experiences.
...where you can be heard and be known.
...where everybody knows your name.
...where you can belong and be yourself.
We offer a variety of Small groups:
- Life Group Bible Studies:
A Bright Christian Church LIFE group is a small group
of 3-14 people who commit to study God's Word together for a certain
length of time. LIFE groups meet either weekly or biweekly and usually
in someone's home or at church. The mark of a mature LIFE group is NOT
in the continuation of that same group over a period of years, but
rather in the birthing of new LIFE groups. This keeps the group's
focus evangelistic in nature and allows other members to grow as leaders. - Support Groups:
BCC support groups offer Christian support and encouragement for people
facing specific needs or struggles. They are NOT designed to
replace professional counselors or doctors.
Groups such as:
- MOPS
- Financial Peace University
- Depression Support for Women
- Body Image Support for Women
- Chronic Pain/Illness for Women
- Divorce Care
- Large Study Groups:
Bright
Christian Church offers a wide variety of adult, teen, and children
study opportunities. Most of those are held simultaneously with
our Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 and 10:30 as well as on
Wednesday evening at 7pm. - Men and Women's Bible Studies
- Faithville Children's Ministry
- Ministry Groups:
These are task oriented groups that are lead through the various
ministries at BCC and gather for the main purpose of serving the Lord.

The Purpose of a LIFE Group is to...
L-LOVE one another as Christ loves us and meet people where they are.
I-INVEST in
each other's life and the life of a church by serving, encouraging, and
holding one another accountable. The natural outflow of a healthy
LIFE group is the shepherding of one another by its members.
F-FELLOWSHIP with one another both in and outside the church so as the church grows people continue to feel connected and valued.
E-EXPLORE God's Word together and grow closer to Christ through worship, prayer, study, and service.
About your LIFE group leader... LIFE
group leaders are not bible experts, professional counselors, or
perfect Christians. They are simply fellow learners who are
willing to organize and lead your group. They are
brothers/sisters in Christ who are on an amazing journey with you, so
keep that in mind as you learn and grow together. The
responsibility for learning and growing lies with each member of the
group. Your level of growth and return from a life group experience is
directly connected to your level of investment.
