Sunday morning Nursery

The Faithville Nursery is a unique ministry and has extraordinary people serving in it. They give their time and love to each child that walks through the door. They are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

All Faithville volunteers have had background checks and Reducing the Risk training to ensure your child’s safety. 

Upon entering the Faithville Nursery Ministry, you will be asked to fill out a registration form that lets us know if your child has any allergies, special needs or if there are any custody issues that we need to be aware of.  We also have a pager/lanyard system that ensures that your child will not be released to any other adult but you.   We strive to make your child as safe as we possibly can. 

If you are new to Bright Christian and would like to be prepared for your first visit, feel free to download a registration form ahead of time and bring it with your little one on Sunday.  We will be looking forward to meeting you and caring for your child with the love of Christ.

What We Offer for Your Little One

Faithville offers three different areas for your little ones: infant nursery, walker nursery and a runner’s room.

  • The Infant Nursery or the Nursery Buds is reserved for infants and children not walking well. In the infant nursery your child will be cared for by loving adults who will rock, play and sing with your child.
  • After they have passed the huge milestone of toddling, the children are promoted to the Walker’s Nursery or the Nursery Sprouts There, your child is exposed to snacks, songs and directed play as well as loving interaction with trained volunteers.
  • Around the age of two, children are promoted to the Faithville Fire Station.  The Fire Station is where we begin to see a child’s faith really spark.  Children are exposed to Bible stories, crafts, snacks, songs and exciting, new learning techniques. It is so awesome to stand around the corner of the Fire Station and hear a group of two year olds praying for their snack or singing songs to God. This is where we see the faith foundation beginning to take shape.

We encourage parents as well to take an active role in teaching their child about Christ in the home. Parents are the first to minister to their children, and Bright Christian Church wants to partner with parents in laying a strong foundation of faith.
